Tight game
Under 1 and St Johns ball.
Shot clock violation. Notre Dame ball down 1 with 37 to go.
Cooley gets blocked hard with 19 to go. Surprised they didn't call a foul!
Bobby knight really upset Cooley not in at the close. And there were in fact 2 plays Cooley might have made that his sub didn't make. Hard to understand. Heckuva block by sju.
Another block!
Saint Johns in bounding with 8 to go up 2.
D'Angelo Harrison is a stud. Definitely one that I wish was in blue and gold.
Nice mini-game thread, Titan.
Cooley still out with 7 seconds left. Hmmm....
SJU winner.
C7 pride!
Big win for St. Johns. They have looked tough in a few games this season.

Thanks for alerting me. Had no idea it was that close.
You're welcome.
On to Bucky v. IIII!
C7 baby!!
Makes an ND home win look more probable. Makes a SJU road win look more challenging. Damn your tricks, Big East. Still the result we wanted.
Gene Keady sporting a new do. The black comb-over is gone.
Big win by St. John's tonight. Not really clear why Brey had Cooley on the bench.

I don't think it changes anything. MU has just as good a chance to win either game as they did yesterday at this time.

I've got to think it was discipline or an injury. If it was merely a "coach's decision" and Brey really thought it gave ND a better chance to win - well, that would be just plain stupid.

ND shoots 40.8% from 3 on the season, making about 7 of 17 attempts per game. Last night, they shot 1-9 and one of those shots came in desperation as the game ended. St. John's, the top shot-blocking team in the country, forced ND to drive, resulting in 9 blocks, several contested shots and helped make Connaughton and Martin (spot-up shooters) non-factors (combined 3-9 with 7 points). It's all about match-ups.
Mike Brey is a spitting image of Jason Sudeikis' Joe Biden minus the balding white hair.
I can't get that image out of my mind. If I knew how to insert an image, I would.
