24 hours and counting until we play UConn, so let's hear it, what do we need to do to get this W?
I know nothing about UConn this year, other than i think there coach is going to be very good in the upcomming years. Is Enosh Wolf good? Will Otule and Gardner be able to keep him at bey?
Any word on Shabazz Napier, did he get injured recently?
I'll also be interested to see how Wainwright coaches and rotates the men. Does Buzz have Wainwright on a short leash and basically told already exactly what to do? Time will tell.
I think this game is EXTREMELY important and hope Jamil comes to play....
Need to win this game. Not only to get to 1-0, but we need to put good teams away.
Will Wainright be the one coaching? Isn't Chew the #1 assistant? It's been an interesting dynamic on the bench so far this year!

I thought Chew would be as well, but some of the guys convinced me Wainwright would be.
I think Chew is the next HC for MU if/when Buzz leaves, not to start another thread or pissing match but I'd be excited to have Chew at the Helm.

Agreed on all counts.

They guy's been here for 3 months and landed one recruit. Yes he's young and that's "exciting", but aren't you getting a little ahead of yourself by anointing him as a head coach in waiting?

After Crean Buzz was hired as head coach after being with MU less than 10 months wasn't he?
Not being facetious, I'm really not sure, i thought it was under a year though.
I would actually be very surprised if Chew were in charge tomorrow. I think it's a coin flip between Jerry and Autry.

He's our top assistant for a reason.
Back to game topic.
Boatwright and Napier are both extremely quick and fast. If bad Junior shows up or foul trouble, could be a mess.

D-Will sees more minutes perhaps? Defensively he's stellar, or do you have Van and Mayo guard them?

I understand that, I just think it's a little early to start treating him like we have Shaka Smart waiting in the wings just because we lucked out with the Buzz hire.

Agree MU needs the game. Desperately, I'd add.
But putting good teams away wouldn't start until Saturday against Georgetown.

No, Wolf is not good. Right now he's slightly better than Phillip Nolan.
