Didn't see it posted here, but a little something to look forward to.

something nice to watch today! Wilson is very fun to watch, the weird crossover in transition that they slowed down was sick, also like how he protects the ball like a running back going to the hoop... alright alright
Wilson will play right away. Based on the various videos I've seen on Burton, he'll will have some work to do. Looks to me like he relies on strength, which won't immediately translate to Big East basketball. Good news is the forward position isn't the issue with this team.
Burton is D1 ready now and will get plenty of minutes next season.
It's sad to be already looking forward to next season. Palms to face.
After watching the MU-GB game in person and just watching the video highlights... my God could we ever use Duane wilson and Deonte Burton. They will both be huge difference-makers that should see considerable minutes next year. And, we can't forget the other recruits are also highly talented. It's hard not to get excited about next year with the super frosh coming in!
That video was beautiful.

Derrick will start over Duane, but Duane will end up playing more minutes. I'm guessing by mid-season Burton has taken over Juan's minutes. It'll be interesting to see what Buzz does with Jamil and McKay. Does he play Jamil at the three and go relatively big with Ox, McKay, Jamil, Blue, and Duane? I like that line-up more than anything I saw last night...
Burton has great strength, energy, and drive, but watching him live his shot is pretty raw. He had a lot of muscle put back points that will be a lot more difficult to get in college. I think he could be a first teamer by junior/senior year in the C10, but next year his minutes will probably be like steve Taylor. Juan has a better shot right now.
There's no doubt in my mind that they'll both be a big part of our offense next year. Looking forward to watching both of them.

Shut up Wegz
Easily the two most exciting recruits we've had in my 17 yrs as a fan.
Interesting that Stone didn't appear to get much pt in these highlights.
Notice they didn't shake hands/slap five at the end?
I'm excited for the entire class. Not just these two. We always have lofty expectations so I'm going to control myself with going overboard on how good they will be next year and just be excited for their potential in a warrior uniform. Only time will tell but if buzz has these guys all 4 years, my gut feeling is that they will be pretty special.
I know the highlights are about the Wisconsin kids, but I think JuJuan will have an impact as well.

So he'll play over Taylor & Anderson? I seriously doubt that. I seem to remember lots of scoopers saying Taylor would get minutes this year, that's not happening.
what number is stone in the clip? 33?

Taylor is one game removed from SOTG award. Also compare Burton's frame with Anderson's last season; guy is built like a horse.

Really? Vs. Savannah St? Don't care what Anderson looked like coming out of high school, I'm saying Burton will not play in front of him as a junior.

Dude, you just said Taylor wasn't getting minutes. I still think Anderson can develop his offensive game and become a nice player, but their games are totally different and Burton is much more college-ready. The kid is physical and strong. He might be rough around the edges, but so is Juan. I'll put my money on Burton.

Taylor has about as college-ready body as I've seen. He doesn't start, and he might not play much in conf. games.
Now, this doesn't mean Burton won't play, but a kid being a "physical specimen" doesn't make him a lock to play major minutes as a frosh. Being good at basketball and earning Buzz's trust will get him minutes.
who won the game?

Vincent.
As far as Burton goes, he'll play right away. Might not be huge minutes, but he makes winning plays. He has great instincts and is an excellent rebounder. He won't score a ton, but he'll play.

Think JaJuan will be the best of the bunch though may not get a chance at as many early minutes due to Vander and Mayo being ahead of him. Honestly can't even remember a Marquette player who could do what JuJuan did in the above video clip. Basically a no dribble, elevate off of 2 feet from the block, and tomahawk flush on somebody?? Combine that with a smooth outside shooting stroke and playing in talent rich Memphis....Mega Excited about this kid.

I loved it. They're teammates next year. This year they're competing against each other. No love for the opponent and just wanting to win. I get this was a van no high five diss, but I love having guys that come wanting to compete for that top spot.

And it looks like we have two headbands on the team again!
Can't wait to watch the fab five!!!
