They're an awesome hunter that messes up pretty much everything, though it doesn't come across as a nickname.  Now if we got a falconer to train one to fly around at basketball games, maybe get it to pick up and throw a stuffed Bucky, that would be cool.

There are dozens of videos on YouTube showing golden eagles snatching animals, knocking mountain goats off a cliff to their death, and just generally being awesome bad-asses.

I always thought it would be cool if a video existed involving our opponents mascot, they would show it on the Jumbotron during the game.

I have seen one golden eagle vs. badger video; unfortunately, it ends in a draw.

This was a video made by some college kids in Canada.  It's CGI.  The prof told them that if they got 1000 views on youtube, they'd get a 100%.  They did.

That professor either wanted to give the kid a gimmee grade or doesn't understand how social media works.

The typical college kid probably has 500-1000 Facebook Friends.  All any kid would have to do is post "Hey, my prof will give me an A if I get a hundred views on this video" and provide the link.

Also, it would take less than an hour for a person to click on his own video 100 times.

500-1000 friends?  Are you serious?

And they snicker at the fact that I have something like 50.  Of course those are real friends, not the 750 acquaintances my kids have on FB.  Webster is going to have to change their definition of 'friend'.  Different world benny.

Easy to get that many views for a good snatch video.
