The Big East is going out in style...
- It is now the only conference where all teams have a winning record
- The conference has 28 straight wins in a row
- No Big East team has lost a game since December 5th.
- All 15 BE teams are ranked in KenPom's Top 100
Why is this not all over ESPN!? The BE is tearing it up so far.

After a slow start, the Big East has been doing very well. It isn't being talked about because: 1) Conference re-alignment is dominating any conference headlines; 2) Big Ten is the best conference to date.

Someone forgot to tell the Big East that...we are 4-3 against the Big Ten so far ;) [/halfteal]

Good thing West Virginia left. 4-5. I almost feel bad for them, except I don't.
Good thread kryza.
It's particularly important for MU this year that the BEast has a strong non-con. Let's be honest; we're not likely to be the #2 team this year. I'm all for achieving the maximum possible conference bids come March. I'm not suggesting in any way that we're a bubble team but I'd sure like a nice cushion. No doubt 2 years ago we rode some BEast bootstraps all the way to the Sweet 16.
Yes the B1G is a better conference. But as of now all 15 BE teams are in KenPom's top 100 where the B1G has 8 of its 12 teams in the top 100.
B1G has better top teams (or a larger number of elite teams the the BE) but the bottom of the BE is much stronger than the bottom to the B1G.
