Hi guys, I follow ND football, as my father went to ND and indoctrinated me early, so I check out the ND Rivals Board from time to time. Guess who I saw post this evening? UDPride. Same handle and everything. Here's the post:
As a Dayton fan, Id prefer to stay in the A10 and tell the BE7 to go pound sand. The BE7 has the same RPI as the current A10 right now. Its a lateral move ( I ran the computation, this is a true statement). In fact, the Catholic 7 basketball schools leaving the Big East actually IMPROVES the Big East RPI.
I just cant trust those BE schools. They are backstabbing money grabbing prostitutes. A10 is a 4-6 bid league. Any newly constituted Catholic league with UD, XU, SLU, Creighton etc will still be a 4-6 bid league. Every league finishes .500 in conference play. When one team wins, another always loses. You will not get more than half the teams in the NCAAs. Thats why larger conferences are more advantageous.
Not my decision to make however. Im just along for the ride.

They may have a higher RPI now....until the C7 take away Xavier and Butler. And add Creighton. Then Dayton can fight it out with LaSalle.
According to Nate Silver, all of UD Pride's arguments are wrong:

Current year mid-December RPI references, nice. I'm sure their administration is begging the C7 for an invite, though being in an irrelevant conference after the raid or being a bottom feeder in the new one is something of a lose-lose to get bitter about.

Thought I would read what the ND fans were saying, but the link requires a membership. No thanks.
Yeah, and the A-10 has those top-notch facilities in Olean and the Bronx.

I wonder how many years of running stats it took this guy to figure out this gem.

I've yet to have a beer with the aviator, though I'd enjoy one.
don't try to have a round with 4never, he'll claim he needs to hit the head, and skip out the side door. Stiffed me with the bill, the mofo.

Can you count on this? I mean, if you needed a foolproof method of getting away from him......
