Title: Temple has a full vote?
Post by: M@RQUETTEW@RRIORS on December 12, 2012, 01:27:49 PM
I read somewhere that Temple claims that they already have a vote and its not true that they are 6 months away from obtaining voting rights.  Is this true?

So you did.  I was merely adding reference to Article 14.01, which is now all the more significant given Temple's "we get to vote, too" proclamation.

Temple can vote if they want. So can Memphis and Houston. But just like Syracuse, Pittsburgh, and Louisville, their votes won't be counted.

Yup. Temple gets to go pound sand. And have Celine Dion sing to them. Accompanied by a pan flute.

If Temple would have been able to muster up the additional $1M ($2M total) to leave the A-10 early they would have a full vote.  They elected to wait.  Serves them right.
