Title: Jamil as our 6th man
Post by: ChitownSpaceForRent on November 30, 2012, 07:49:21 PM
I think Buzz should start with Jamil coming off the bench. He just seems to play better and played like he has something to prove. I liked when Juan started those two games. I love Jamil and think he can be great but for right now lets keep him as our 6th man.

Digger tried this with Orlando and quickly went back to Woolridge starting.

Seemed to work for the stud on Florida.  I can't totally judge Jamil off the FL debacle, but he seemed to check out a bit.  Gotta fight!

Wasn't Junior Bridgeman the 6th Man prototype? Another great Crum product.

Jamil needs to start and bust way out of the bad game slump. We need him on the court as many minutes as possible. He needs to play tougher and have confidence he will. As Jamil and Vander go, MU mates will follow. We cannot afford them having to all crap games.

Agree with Goose.  It is important for Jamil and Vander to lead this team by playing strong and aggressive.  Both athletes are extremely talented and need to play at a high level.

It's early, but, sad to see that Otule does not seem to have the ability to play well.  He misses a lot of passes and just does not play to his size.

Buzz has to recruit more athletic 5s!

Truth. He will be our War Horse this year. He needs to be.

First sentence goes to hope. Second goes to want. We'll see if he fulfills either.
