I'm not blue about no Blue. Need him healthy for bigger fish....gatorsl, badgers.
Go Warriors.

Espn3 for me
Can't get it. I'm blacked out but can't get Time Warner where I am
My espn3 is giving me audio but no video - anyone else with that problem?
i'm getting audio and video
We are tied.
trap game.
Nice move Taylor. Sign of things to come?
Man, seeing Ferguson and Taylor play is lots of fun, they are gonna be so awesome for Marquette in the coming years, if not this year.
our bench looking much better than the starters
Trent is struggling.
I really like Ferguson, he just has the basketball "hops". His wingspan is huge.... Keep him on the floor.
Derrick Wilson is just an offense liability and must be afraid to take a shot.
Lockett looking terrible, is 0 for 5 with two wide open three misses and a missed layup.
Thank goodness not the Florida game.
Ox for 3?
Let's hope we don't look like this on Thurs. night, would be ugly against gators
another "iron out the kinks" game...
Can Jamal not shoot threes? Passed on two good looks.
Buzz is using this as a teaching moment. Watch us come out with full court press in 2nd half
One of these days , Trent needs to get in gear.
Does anyone else have an opinion of why we have looked so bad against these cupcakes and looked solid in Maui? I think Buzz may be just letting them play against this lower competition and running sets when we play better teams. The offense looked organized in Maui and here it looks like a free for all
Looked pretty bad that half. It shows we are missing Vander (dare I say on offense), not rotating enough on D, and not executing well with the ball. Nice to see the young guys getting some time but we will have to step it up a lot more 2nd half and I am confident they will. Jamil looked good though. Pure mid range jumper. Agree on Lockett. He seems to like driving but he's a bit out of control and doesn't maneuver that well sometimes.

I should hope so, we need him. And after all the hype this summer...

Lockett needs to be the main student. 0 for 6 with just a brutal charging foul. Just a terrible half and to be honest, he has not really been the player I thought he would be so far.
MU shooting 37% and are 1 for 8 from three. 28 points against a team like this is sad.
I agree. Buzz should reem them a new one and they come out abit fired up.

Exactly. No worries.

Buzz is using it as a teaching moment...no reason to assume that we suck, we are just ironing out the kinks. Some coaches prefer to blow lesser competition out of the water, and with two powerhouse seniors last year, we could, this year this team needs to face as much adversity early as it can to grow and mesh quickly.
Trent really has to elevate his game. At times he hurts us more than helps us.
Thats more like it.
Lockett will be fine. All players have halves when things don't go right. Everybody becomes George Steinbrenner when a player doesn't excel thinking sports is the same as a shipbuilding factory

I agree. This is just players getting more used to each other in a game situation. I'm pretty sure Buzz views these games are scrimmages that count towards the overall record. If the team should go down 5-10 points against a cupcake I'm sure you'd see a normal game rotation out there like we saw in Maui.
Nice little run... Ox picking up loose balls and running the court....
Yikes, b team cheerleaders tonight.
THink Lockett heard you guys, started this 17-2 run with some nice play, Jake looking good too
Not trying to bag the guy, but does Roseboro have any stats? Besides 4 fouls?

He did hit a nice little bank shot, but man he isn't much of a player at this level.
hit a nice bank shot early second half but not much else besides the hacks

2 pts, 2 rbs, 4 fouls and Jimmy Mc saying he will be a big difference to UMBC and their season. WTF????

NYG spot on with the stats as usual!
I think we win by 140 tonight.
Got our hands full next game.
Nothing like a 32-5 run to restore order to the universe.

Yup. Florida's frontline of Young, Yeagette and Murphy are alot different than UMBC.

that will not be fun. not the mention their guards are super good.
also, damn, UMBC scored...
Just got a call from MU asking for moola. She didn't know the game was on.
You know its a blow out when Junior and D Wil are on the court at the same time.
Anyone else hate that prius commercial?
I just got back from Cyber Monday.
What's the word?
Hey, I just figured out that UMBC was not the Baltimore-area school where former DePaul coach Pat Kennedy flamed out. That was Towson.
FWIW....
JUAAAAN!!!!! Nice to see him play well

Poll: Did Roseboro play more minutes on the Bradley Center court tonight than he would have in any complete season if he'd stayed at Marquette?
Dunno.
But Buzz stopped after giving him a handshake and traded some words after thumping him in the chest.

Please let a couple of the negative nancies accidentally hit the submit button on their rants that were all typed up ready to go a couple minutes into the second half.
Was Roseboro a Buzz recruit?
Why was he dropped....other than the obvious from what we saw tonight?

What's with the Roseboro trashing? ?-( Here's a guy who WANTED to play for Marquette but lost the opportunity for reasons beyond his control. Save the vitriol for the Devendorfs of the world.

Agreed.
I honestly don't know any details behind why he didn't make it with us. Anything worth discussing?
I had a sense that all the travel and a bit of 'looking ahead' to FLA had these guys off their game a bit. They made up for it after the first two minutes in the second half.

Roseboro was a Buzz recruit. He was signed after a pretty strong AAU season after his junior year. He came to MU for the summer, but the *rumor* was that he didn't work particularly hard off the court and struggled mightily in pick up games. He was basically encouraged to transfer after that summer.

Steve Taylor continues to impress. He's getting better by the game. :)

You must not watch watch other BCS schools host cupcakes on TV. MU has way more fans at these games then many of those schools.
