UW leads by one at half against #14 Creighton. Their replacement PG is young and it shows. They will miss Gasser
Losing by 5 now. Dekker looks good though.
Tied at 58 with 9 minutes to go
How did the ref just miss Bergerran going out of bounds with both feet on the drive?
Jared Berggren is a horse. He is carrying UW by himself. Creighton's bigs are struggling with him.
I won't cheer for the Badgers, but it would help our RPI if they win.

That's all that need be said.
That Wragge for Creighton has a nice stroke. He now has 17 points. We could use a 3 point bomber like him.
Jays up 8, 4:30 to play.
Creighton is a lot of fun to watch.
Just saw the BO face. I could have done without that.

The Bo Face matched his red polo shirt. Notice how Dekker has already learned to whinge and whine like a true Bo Ryan Badger? Classic
all the crying by each badger player on the floor really is terrible. They are so trained to believe they never commit a foul they get upset on the obvious calls.
I can see questioning a couple calls but not every single call.
76-66 Creighton with 2:05 left
Showalter is an athletic freak!! Dekkar will be a real nice player
Really not a fan of Brust

Gotta admit Dekker looks good. Brust is a punk in the proud Badger tradition
Couldn't believe Dekker didn't get more time in the second half. Showalter had to play more than him.
Giving up 84 points has to be concerning for the Badgers.
Looks like bo is starting to let his guys play fast on offense but dosen't know how to coach that way!! :D He has no idea how to coach a team that runs the ball up the court and shoots before the shot clock gets to under 10 seconds. He better get it figured out or slow em down!!

Scoring 74 is of far greater concern!
I live in Vegas and attended the game. A couple of observations. Wisconsin is more athletic (with Showalter and Dekker) and are playing at a quicker tempo this year than they have in the past and it will probably take time for them to adjust. That said, a problem is two of their more athletic players are Evans and Marshall and they get going out of control. I don't think Evans should be the focal point of the offense which he seemed to be a lot of the time.
The Wisconsin players do whine about most calls. One of the things that Bo must be teaching is that when a Wisconsin player flops and the whistle blows, before the call is made the Badgers applaud and line up like they are supposed to be taking the ball out of bounds. If the call goes the other way they look around in disbelief.
Also, Creighton looks like a very good team
Creighton has an excellent team, and it was the first game in a long time watching the Badgers I was entertained!

Vegas,
I noticed that as well watching on TV. Brusewitz (or however you spell it) was especially whiney and snarky. When he flops he actually jumps, goes airborne, as he flies backwards. What a cop out - play defense and quit "cheating." To me that's not good defense at all - just abusing the rules. And I'm glad he wasn't getting away with it (at least not every time.)
Too much three point shooting for Wisconsin...again. Bergerren was giving them fits inside, and there would be multiple possessions where they hardly looked for him.
With the Badger loss, I suspect they will move up to # 2 in the Pomeroy rankings. ;D

No kidding. I couldn't believe how whiny the WI players were. Ryan must be teaching this as a formal game tactic. If so it would be more than pathetic.
It's simple to me, I never have cheered for Becky to win in anything.
If MU can't get in the NCAA tournament on their own without having to cheer for SOS, then they probably don't deserve to get in at all.

Here here. I could give a shat about WI. If we can't do it on the court rather than in a computer then we shouldn't belong.
