I know they are in one, but for the life of me I can't remember which one. Originally I think it was supposed to be the Old Spice Classic, but if I recall correctly they pulled out of that and are in a different one next year. Is it the Directv Classic in Anaheim?? ?-(
Yes it is the Direct TV Classic. Trying to find the a list of the field though.

That's what i thought, I was looking for a field as well, but didn't find one.
MU twitter account said today at 2:30 they will release the list. I saw on the San Diego St. message board that they are also in it, as well as Creighton.
Where will it be played?

This tournament is at the Anaheim Convention Center arena. Every year, without fail, the stands are basically completely empty...even though it's always a solid field.

Chicos will likely be there
I will be there as it is only an hour drive from my home. Chicos is probably the reason Marquette is in the field.
2013 - Anaheim
2014 - Orlando
2015 - In negotiations (a very familiar destination)

Lock your closets. :-[
Loving this. Love that a game actually is being played on Thanksgiving itself. I'm already planning to make the cross-country trip to go to this. Not Maui, but should be fun.

We better win that tournament.
The press release doesn't even have MU as a headliner.

It lists all the schools in alphabetical order. No snub here

I believe that mupanther is referring to this headline.
"Creighton and San Diego State highlight the early-season event"
It shouldn't be surprising. Creighton and San Diego State are the teams currently ranked in the AP Top 25.

When do we get to play in Vegas!?!?!? PTM wants to get back to the Red Rooster
I'm so there. Great arena. You can get up close to the court during warmups.
Unfortunately, I have bad memories of that place: frackin' Lopez twins.
The good news is there aren't any real dogs in the field. Obviously Creighton and San Diego State are top-tier mid-majors. If nothing else, Wisconsin learned that last night. Miami has been solid under Larranaga and the other three teams are all solid top-200 programs that currently play a lot of underclassmen, so they should be even better next year. Here's hoping that final spot goes to a recognizeable Big Ten or SEC team.
It's no Battle For Atlantis, but it's certainly better than last year's Paradise Jam.

That would be correct.
Miami is a solid bb club. Had some big wins last season.

Keep in mind, that arena seats 9,000 plus. So, 2000 people will make it look empty. Maui seats only around 2,300.
I'm hopin the drive back to No-cal is a little funner this time then after watching Stanford knock us out of the Honda Center with Sideshow Bob Lopez and his brother...Anaheim Convention Center is a bit old but should be alright for this type tourney. 350 mile drive I'm in

Vegas would be cool! I've lived here almost 20 years. What/where is the Red Rooster? Sounds like a gentlemen's club.
