Title: Buzz's Pants
Post by: Blue Horseshoe on November 20, 2012, 05:35:14 PM
Can someone get Buzz a pair of pants that fit and are age appropriate? He looks decades older in these drapes. After dropping some pounds there's no need to dress like a fatty.

Its the pleats. He is always dressed in pleats. May be a southern thing?

Wow. Looks like he got those pants from Rick Majerus' closet.

I'll re-phrase.  Classy guys can wear pleats.  What we're seeing here is merely a poor camera angle.

Old dudes wear pleats.

No poor angle involved.

Another turn of the fashion cycle will find you wearing pleats and believing yourself quite cool and sophisticated.   ;D

I thought his pants YESTERDAY were awful. Today they are great.  I love HUGE, pleated khakis.

I prefer to wear pants 4 waist sizes "too large" for me.  (Well, I prefer to wear no pants.. but if pants are required.)

You little fashion school girls.

It's a French thing. I was at a party at The Dakota and saw Francois Truffault hanging with Jean Paul Belmondo. Both were smoking Gauloises and wearing pleated YSL slacks. They were très elegant if I do say so.

Unfortunately, it does. Back in October I remember cringing at this Wall Street Journal write up.
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10000872396390443982904578046832950796870.html (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10000872396390443982904578046832950796870.html)

In response the Gothamist threw its hat into the ring.

Personal opinion on pleats aside, his pants just don't fit. I have a feeling Buzz is under the false impression that baggier pants will result in greater comfort and range of motion during a game. In reality carrying all that extra material is restrictive. Buzz isn't a stick, nor should his pants be so skinny they look painted on, but it is obvious that he looks amateurish.

It's not rocket science. Wear a flattering cut and look like a boss.

Your wife is discontent that you need extra space down there?

That comparison is just a BIT skewed.  Could the pleated look be any more over done?  LOL.  There is a middle ground.  I wear both, pleated and non pleated.

Well she is perfect happy about the room, but she is discontented that I look so out of date.

You can't wear flat-front pants if you don't have a flat front.

At the beltline, gentlemen.

Pleated pants for thin guys, not hard to find.  Key is the single pleat without the big ass space in the back.

ZFB has a large ballbag and appreciates the feeling of a Hilton. The rest of you fancy cats are rockin the motel 6---no ball room.
