Title: Juan Anderson
Post by: lurch91 on November 19, 2012, 07:44:26 PM
First time I was able to catch a game today.  Was really impressed by Anderson. He seems to be everything we had hoped Erik Williams would become.

Also, thought Blue played with plenty of heart and desire.

Defense was lacking, had no answer for Marshall.

Marshall played like Jamil Wilson should have played...bad bad bad game by Jamil. Hopefully he improves on that today

No doubt that Jamil was the big disappointment of the Butler game.

I was sort of surprised he wasn't on the court near the end...Could have used a stop and some energy on defense. I know he had 4 fouls, I just found it odd that he wasn't out there I thought he could have helped.

Loved how Juan played and has been playing this year.  I pull for a guy like him because of his endless energy and ability to produce as well.  I see him as a leader next year, IMO.

As for Jamil, take a look at most of the fouls that were called on him: very touchy (not saying the refs were bad).  I would think his aggressiveness took a dive (for the rest of the game) and may have been a liability on D at the end.  I mean it showed the rest of the way through after his 3rd.  Settled for jumpers and rode guys through on D.

Agree....was disappointed Buzz had him on the bench the last 4 minutes...Jamil didn't have it AT ALL yesterday.

I would have had him on the floor instead of Taylor at the end of the game.  Not sure that Butler gets that put back to cut it to one if Juan is on the floor instead.

I'm confused by your post.  Jamil didn't have it at all, yet you wanted him in the game at the end?

Jamil didn't have it.  Juan should have been on the court.

I believe Ners means he wanted Juan on the floor since he was on the bench the last 4 minutes and Jamil was on the floor at the end since "Jamil didn't have it at all."
