Let's brush the floor with Colgate.
Ya, that's all I got. :-\
When do we start playing?
Wilson is playing great. But other than that, this offense is scaring me a lot. And Colgate just might be the worst basketball team in D1A
Liking the energy of Lockett. He is all over the place.
Loving the way we run the offense through Devante when he's on the floor. He's our most efficient scorer and our best passer next to JC. Really will spread the floor for Thomas and Wilson to knock down threes when he's playing well.
Lots of rust.
Jake Thomas is in!!!
Blue still make me cringe on offense.

When you go 0 for 4, with a dumb turnover, you sit and are replaced by a walk-on. Been sitting for a long time.

On the plus side juan anderson is playing well. I could see him possibly taking some time at the 2
Jake got some good minutes.
Blue back in.

Juan looks solid in transition.
I Know these guys are horrible but Juan looks much more confident and Jake appears like he will be able to contribute some solid minutes this year.
Our rebounding effort is brutal.
Where is Taylor?
Our defensive intensity is brutal.
There is a very real chance we will lose this game. This offense is absolutely atrocious.
Wow

I wouldn't go that far, but it isn't smooth.
Jamil is a freak. I don't get why he doesnt attack it pretty much everytime. Him lockett and Vander are all floating up high too much. Take it to the hole.

Absolutely not. But that doesnt mean we are playing well
A lot of feeling things out, deep bench, not impressive but somewhat expected. Jamil played fairly well, Davante looked like Davante and Juan was a surprisingly solid contributor. Hope to see a little more cohesiveness in the second half.

If colgate can stay within striking distance in the 2nd half I will be very nervous.
anyone starting to think that condensation is a good thing?
Aforementioned---- Where is Taylor?
Good: Wilson looks great
Otule seems fine with knees
Gardner, well is Gardner. Team plays so much better with him in.
Lockett started out good, but sort of disappeared.
D. Wilson got minutes, but no points.
Created 14 turnovers, with only 4 for MU
Bad: Vander looks terrible, 1 for 6 and sat on bench a long time. Thomas took his minutes.
3 point defense again.
Know its first game and all, but MU should destroy this team in second half.
See what happens with 3 point shooting and just plain outside shooting because the first half was not very good in that. MU had like 80% of scoring from inside. Teams will just zone them.
Lets see what happens.
We're up by 11 at the end of the first half in which we went 10 players deep. Relax. They'll settle down and things will start to come together more fluidly.
Looking forward to seeing Taylor.
I'm calling it now. DG - MU's best defensive player. I mean, did you see him take that charge early?
And yes, he sure looks great on offense. ;D
CO. Nice.
Did Otule sit out with a knee injury last year or was that a cover for going to Europe to ball a little? Does not look tentative or rusty at all.

Using this game as a barometer is silly. MU is better, knew they were better going in, and are winning based on talent and size. This won't always be the case, and we'll have to see going forward how MU looks against like opponents.

But if they continue to give up layups on defense and show no signs on any outside shooting, the better teams will not have mercy.
BTW, Lockett is going to be a nice player for this team.
Otule may be our best offensive player so far. (Wilson excluded)

So Wilson is our best offensive player.
8 for 15 from free throw line. 53%. Here we go again?
Now Anderson hurt shoulder. Hope its not the one just repaired.
I like these announcers.

He was holding his right shoulder.
Junior seems as offensively bereft as ever.
Alright, I'll say it. I miss Todd.
We're up by 20. What more do you want? I hope you aren't this tough on your kids.
Bottom line our front court is the best since 94. Our backcourt average. Would like to see more playmaking outside of transition.
Nice to see Ferguson hit that banker in the lane. Welcome to Marquette young man!

I really liked the 3 by anderson, it looked smooth.
Good to see Juan back in.
Juan Anderson looks to be exactly what Fulce should have been had he stayed healthy. He's a monster rebounder, a crafty offensive player and a high energy player. I love how aggressive he's been on both sides of the floor and has been the biggest positive in this game for me going forward.
Steve Taylor looks like Juan last year, a bit lost. It'll come around.
Okay, I'll be the first to mention, they're wearing the Carrier Classic uniforms.
Swanson in?
and everyone scores!
Taylor's first points!
"Watched" the game on the ESPN gamecast. Pretty funny to see them refer to Steve Taylor as S. Jr. in the box score and Steve Jr. in the play by play. Wonder how they overlooked that.

He's a redshirt this year.
Saw Jake Thomas on the computer on front row sports, small screen. Jake looks huge next to Colgate's guys.
Nice 3 from the corner by Thomas. Gonna need that this year.
We're deep. :)

What was Larry Williams wearing?! I care, because I'm a superficial, judgmental, pathetic human being that forms opinions on folks based on their clothing. You know, like any bitchy 7th grade girl.

For a second I thought you were serious. Then the teal tipped me off that this was posted with sarcasm.
PS. You must never have had to interview anyone or even have had to interview somewhere. Maybe someday...
