As the Dems scramble to lose the war in Iraq before it's too late, they have a surprise coming: On top of the surge, generals are contemplating sending in more forces in a final push toward VICTORY (imagine that VICTORY)!
General Peter Pace affirmed that possibility yesterday.
Just like we did in Viet Nam! Wahoo!

By the way, what constitutes victory? Has this been determind yet? And is that usually something that should be determind?
Tower----you'll notice that the surge is pushing Al Quida further and further north (now in Tikrit)----pretty soon they have no where to retreat to----have to have more troops to secure pacified territory.
Chili----victory is a drastically lower level of violence which will allow for political progress to tackle the tough issuse----need pacification first to secure the necessary political progress!!
Rumsfeld should have retired 3-4 years ago----he just didn't get it as he tried to win the war on the cheap!

Great question....here's an equally important one. What constitutes defeat? What happens if we leave...why won't people answer this?
No answer because the Dems are hypocrites-----they are putting their hate for GWB ahead of the country's interests!

I always thought clear objectives was needed to win a war. At least that is what you learn when you are taking poli sci classes. Without them, you can never win a war. Because then what are you fighting for. This has been my fundamental problem with this war is that there are no clear objectives. History has proven that without them, failure has always been the outcome.
