He says he is wide open, which is different from earlier when he sounded like he wanted to play close to home. It also said North Carolina was his child hood favorite team.
Here's some encouragement from an MU perspective from Diamond's father.
"'There are a lot of life lessons in basketball, so to me it's more than basketball,' Bob Stone explained. 'I call it a science. So I'm trying to figure out how (the coaches) love the game and how in-depth they talk the game. I'm looking for somebody to feed my son's whole person. He's going to spend a lot of time with this person. A coach is like a father-type figure so I need to know that they're going to feed his whole person.'"

I would think this describes most successful major college coaches.
