Tickets for Carrier Classic are almost Super Bowl pricey

If you want to see Marquette play No. 4 Ohio State Friday night on the flight deck of the USS Yorktown in Mount Pleasant, S.C., and you're not affiliated with the military, bring a full wallet.

It will be a small MU crowd and likely quiet one.

But a wealthy one.

As much as I love MU, I wouldn't pay that kind of money to see us in the national championship game, let alone in a nonconference game in November. That's what TV is for.

The $1,000-$2,500 seats were court side.  If Marquette would make a national championship I would for sure pay that for Court side seats.  Without a doubt.  Not so much for a November game.
