Marquette Basketball Fans,
There will be a Thanksgiving Luau in Maui including the Marquette team and those who took the official travel package. There are 50 seats available for sale if you are interested in attending this event. The deadline to register is Nov. 9th.
The event begins at 5 pm with an open bar and mai tais; Hawaiian Arts and Crafts demonstrations, a torch lighting ceremony, and imu ceremony (pulling the pig out of the ground). The buffet opens at 6 and the show is from 7 to 8 pm.
Below is an email from Della Bushnell of Oahu Travel, which is organizing the event that details cost, registration, and ticket pick-up:
We can take up to (50) seats so it will be on a first come, first served basis. There is a slight discount for people staying at the Hyatt and they will need to show their room key.
Hyatt Guest rate:
Adults - $114.75
Teen - $63.75 (13 – 20 years)
Child - $51.25 (6 – 12 years)
Under 6 – free (but still needs to be counted)
Non Hyatt Guest rate:
Adults - $125.00
Teen, child same as above

Tickets can be picked up at the Hyatt Regency Maui, EA Sports Maui Invitational Hospitality Desk, beginning on Saturday, November 17 from 8:00am – 5:00pm. They will need to show their room keys when picking up tickets. All tickets not picked up by noon, Monday, November 19 will be returned to inventory and all payments will be forfeited. If people are staying at either the Sheraton Maui or Westin Maui, I can arrange to have their tickets at the hospitality desks at the respective hotels. We will not be responsible for unclaimed tickets or for delivery of tickets to any location other than the Hyatt Regency Maui, the Westin Maui or the Sheraton Maui.
