Buzz pleased with scrimmage
You know the drill.

"The Golden Eagles are under the radar and have looked sharp in practice. They're not going to be anyone's idea of a top-25 team soon..."
Well, except maybe for bamamarquettefan who has them at 25 in the value added rankings.....
What Buzz thinks after a scrimmage is far less important than what the NCAA voters think about MU's scrimmage... or so I've been told.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but in past years I remember Buzz being more downbeat in his assessment of these scrimmages. Didn't he compare last year's team to his young son learning to walk?
If my memory is correct, then Buzz's positive asessment carries more weight. It's not just spin. (Buzz doesn't spin anyway).

Depends on your definition of "soon". I consider November 12 to be soon. Maybe Michael does not. It is over a week away.
Preseason polls are a joke. Most of the teams in the preseason rankings are ranked based upon identity of the program. The fact that Wisconsin is ranked is ?-(

Or, last year's team thought it was good and he had to knock them down a little bit, while this team needs a confidence bost.
It will be sooner than soon, if they beat Ohio st.
