This would be a great get of true for MU.
My question is, why is D. Wilson Jr. never referred to as a PG? I thought that's what he was being recruited as. Am I wrong in thinking that or are we planning on usin him as more of a 2? It seems that none of the articles mention Wilson as a pg when I thought that's what his natural position was and what he played all summer in aau and high school....? Maybe it's just me.
Anyways, hope we can land Johnson like this tweet suggests. Will be one heckuva class with the Milwaukee boys, Dawson, and Johnson.

Would be a wonderful addition. Hope it's true.
Remember when Johnson said he would verbal in November but not sign until next spring? Here's a possible scenario:
He very much wants MU, but also wants to see how our roster shakes out this Spring. Will Mayo be moving on? How about Jamil? My guess is the staff knows (or at least strongly feels) there will be room (and PT) for JuJuan (Embid, too), but is okay with him not signing because it could save a pr hit if someone is perceived to be "Buzz cut". I guess there's also the chance that he's committing to Buzz and wants to make sure he's still here, but if we get him and Embid that's easily a top 5 class - something that could go a long way in encouraging Buzz and the administration to bury the hatchet.
Of course it's also possible the kid wants the option of a Duke or a UNC if he blows up between now and then. I officially have my fingers crossed.

My guess is D Wilson projects as a backup PG, that's what I see out of him....good ball handler and defender.
which wilson now?
Some nice problems to have. It would seem plausible that a player or two that still has eligibility left might move on to pro ball (Chris or Jamil for example) while it always remains possible that a player down at 3rd string decides to find playing time elsewhere. We've seen underclassman departures every year recently.
Next year's depth is simply incredible if both potential recuits commit. Without mentioning names and offending anyone, third string kids on my depth chart for '13-14 would have likely started on MU teams just a few short years ago.
