Big night for MU on tv tonight. Double header with 1st game is Doc v Wade. Second game is Jae v DJO.
Will Jae start?
Jae just entered the game
Curry has some tats. Holy cow.
Jae 0 for 2 in first qtr.
Yes
Three Goggles!
Does djo even get to sit on the bench? Havent seen him at all
And a nice jumper off the pick.
Great assist!
Crowder stripping the ball from Kobe...you're lying if you ever thought that would happen when he first started at Marquette!
He just got scored on by Pau, but that's gonna happen when you give up 8 inches.
That shot was ugly.
Jae not backing down against frankenstine.
Crowder on Pau. Haha... thats what GM's mean when they say undersized...
Doing a little bit of everything. Just like we all thought.
A few tweets from writers-
Eamonn Brennan, ESPN- @eamonnbrennan Atta kid Jae Crowder! I love it.
Alex Kennedy, USA Today- @AlexKennedyNBA Jae Crowder is going to have a long NBA career.
Dan Wolken, USA Today- @DanWolken Jae Crowder making it in the NBA would pretty much end the argument about needing to have a position. If you can play, you can play.
For three!!!
YES
Any questions????
;D ;D (http://;d)
Who is this Whirrled Peas guy?
Jae Crowder is trending on twitter!
how long is he gonna have to play before he can load up as many bricks as VC and still see decent minutes?
I love how he's staying true to Jae and MU. Letting his game come to him and playing with hustle and heart.
Jae looking real good so far.
On a side note, Vince Carter should just retire.
His minutes will only keep increasing as the season wears on. Not sure Marion, Brand, and Carter have the legs left.
Very good start. Didn't look like the moment was too big for him.
This MU fan would be livin' large if we could get even 1 possession of Jae v DJO tonight.
Lots of non posting scoopers on tonight on scoop.
Hey, come join us.....
According to nba.com DJO inactive for tonights game.

Anyone think Buzz is watching?
I'm loving it. He's a great representative of MU. They just had a cut scene of the bench after an Eddie Curry layup and Jae was the only person on the bench into the game standing up and cheering everyone on.

Anyone think Buzz is watching?
Probably. I'm more hopeful that potential recruits are watching though. JaJuan and Embiid, in particular.
I like the frequent mentions of Marquette, and the fact that they talked about Jae during break " he's a rookie that's playing like anything but."
Gotta love Jae starting 4th quarter.
Nice rebound, nice deflection.
LOTS of PT.
Lakers suck cause no DJO tonight. ;)

Lakers suck because they're the lakers. Sorry DJO.
Elder Mayo with very tough 2nd half.
Eddy Curry looks to be in great shape.
Nice props for Jae.
On the post-game show, Charles Barkley said "I really like Jae Crowder's game"
DVR'd the game and watched it this morning (I knew I was a diehard MU fan, but when I'm watching a Mavs game before work, just to see Jae, I realize that I might have problems - hence my participation in this MU support group).
What surprised me was how comfortable Jae looked out there in his first NBA game (under the bright lights of the Staples center nonetheless). His performance spoke to what we already know, and what Buzz preaches: Guys who are switcheables that play with heart & hustle, can compete in the NBA.
Great praise from Sir Chuck and Reggie Miller ("Jae Crowder looked fantastic tonight").
Should be interesting to watch the season unfold for the Mavs. Will Crowder's pt be effected negatively when Dirk and Kaman come back? Will the legs of Vince and Marion tire as the season pushes on?
I can openly say that I'm a Bulls, Miami, Blazers, and Mavs fan (hard for me to cheer for the Knicks and Lakers).

With his efficiency and versatility, Jae strikes me as one of those guys a coach has a hard time pulling off the court. A "glue guy" so to speak. Hopefully that proves to be the case. The Mavs made their nice little run when the game appeared to possibly be getting away when Jae scored his 8 points in a brief spurt in the second quarter. Great to see.
