No McNeal or Matthews. Lots of big names left off the roster.

Shazbot.
good to see representation by reynolds and hibbert, but i think the BE has so many deserving players
I hope this means those two (along with DJ) have something to prove this upcoming season to their BE brethren!
Their inability to hit the trey consistently is costing them (and us)----not all offenses are geared to "attack". It's going to be very difficult to improve as a team until or unless our 3 guards learn to shoot treys!
Our lineup with DJ, Jerel, and Wesley will not hit that many treys...just deal w/ it. That's why we have players like Cubey, Christopherson, and Fitz. And if Lazar has improved as much as he has, he can hit them too. It would be nice if our big 3 guards could shoot the trey better but it's not in their game. DJ can play much more of a point roll with the team we have imo. He'll still score but i think his assist numbers will be up more this year.
Fram I've seen Acker shoot a pretty consistent 3 as well. He also seems to be a pass first point, which depending on the line-up, can be advantageous to the team.
forgot about Acker...silly me
I'm a little upset that none of our tres amigos made the cut. It makes me a little crazy to see that committee picking so many big men. I don't know, I just don't think the group they picked was the best by any stretch. I find it quite coincidental that Neitzel made the cut when Izzo was on the committee--however, by that stroke, I thought Devendorf should have also maybe been on the final roster (maybe he & Boeheim had a falling out). Oh well, it's better that our boys aren't getting injured anymore than normal.
MU players have a lot to prove this year.
