Compelling Big East meetings on tap
After a workout that began at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, Buzz Williams, Junior Cadougan and Trent Lockett flew to New York for Big East media day.

Just as this board was singing Hunt's praises, he gets the AD's name wrong (unless Tiger's ex-caddy became the AD and I missed it) and mentions that the Big Ten could eventually be an option for MU, being the large, state-funded research institute that it is. Clearly, he's just trying to drum up some attention with the B10 mention.
I guess Hunt doesn't get to go to the show himself.
I saw Junior on campus at 1. Must of been a quick trip.

It actually is tomorrow. He might be speaking in the past tense but they likely simply haven't left yet.
Sort of interesting that Otule is not going.
Let him stay home and continue to rehab.
Otule will go next year in his final season here. They must feel like the 6th year is a near done deal.

Guess the JS couldn't scrape together Greyhound fare.

They listed him as a junior at Marquette Maddness, so they are definately expecting him back.

Redshirt senior on their roster.
Glad to hear that Otule didn't make the trip... Buzz must really expect him back next year. Having Chris in 2013-2014 would be a huge asset to our team. I also feel it's an underrated sentiment on this board.
Chris will make a nice team captain in '13-14. Lots of talented Freshmen to show the right way to do things both on and off the court. He'll turn 24 in January of that season. Practically a coach at that age with no ego thinking he's 'the one' but rather with a firm understanding that it'll be his last chance at a deep tourney run. My hope is that he stays healthy this year and next.
