Relatively timely. Only a couple of condescending shots.
I am not a writer and I could write a better article than that. It makes Burton sound like a junior college player. Also says Otule missed last season with a broken foot.

Well, in all fairness, it states:
"Dawson would be Williams' final signing this year if Chris Otule is granted a waiver for a sixth season. The 6-11 senior center missed
most of the 2009-10 season with a broken foot."
I think the point is that if Otule gets a waiver, it would be because of his 2009-10 injury, not last year's, which occurred after he had already played eight games.
The sentence with Burton could have been worded more elegantly, but it says "junior college
transfer (edit: singular) Jameel McKay, Deonte Burton ...."

It also makes it read like there is a UTEP-Wyoming :)
QuoteSome of the other schools reportedly recruiting Dawson were Texas-El Paso Wyoming, Creighton, Auburn and Colorado State.
On the positive side, he said:
"Marquette's well-regarded 2013 recruiting class."
Thank you, Michael, I know it couldn't have been easy.
We get it Mike. TJT left school in July after being here only one month. How many times does he need to mention it in an article about John Dawson committing? The article wouldn't have lost any substance had the last paragraph been eliminated.

Agree. With all the moving pieces of recruiting and roster changes, I just don't see Dawson's commitment as a simple move to replace TJ Taylor, which is how it's being framed here. We probably don't go after Dawson if Taylor is around, but it's still an oversimplification.

I Think it is confusing to those who do not follow MU, because they mention Wilson's High School and do not say anything about Burton's, which to the casual reader leaves them to assume he is a junior college player.
