Was at Creighton this weekend. Apparently going to visit us and UTEP.
2013 PG from Clovis, NM...a late bloomer from an area that doesn't produce many D1 players.
Don't want him, ain't that good
Solid contingency option. Would prefer Patterson, but not a bad backup to the guys we haven't landed.

Seriously, could you tone it down a bit? If Buzz wants him, who are we to argue? I don't mind constructive criticism...and how do you know he "ain't that good?"

Why? Paterson is not a top 100 player and may have academic issues. Even if he does not, we look bad by taking a player that supposedly could not get into Indiana.

Been following his recruitment longer and feel he's more of a sure bet. Really like his defense, which is important for incoming freshmen. Not sure how taking a player that couldn't get into IU makes us look bad other than in the eyes of Crean-bashers; it was a pretty clear case of TC having one too many guys on scholarship and Patterson being the lowest rated incoming recruit.
I am glad we landed Dawson. Liking Patterson is not an indictment.
