In Memphis for the weekend for a family wedding and ended up at a fund raiser last night that Josh Pastner was at. Introduce myself as an MU fan and wished him well in the BE. He was very personable and raved about Aki Collins and also was realistic about the conference fe-ignments being all about football. For you old guys that rember Memphis in the old Great
Midwest and CUSA with us the Pyramid is now being converted into a Bass pro shop very odd to say the least. He was Probabaly in a good mood since he just got a verbal from a top 100 guard.
They should have saved the Pyramid.
Unless they replaced it with the columns like the Karnak Temple or the entrance to the Luxor Temple, all connections to the name Memphis and Egyptian culture is gone.

Oh, the Pyramid is still there. It's just going to be a Bass Pro Shop instead of a basketball arena now.

But what did he say about our upcoming NCAA sanctions? Surely he and Aki have talked about that.

Yeah, thank god that completely unsourced/fabricated gossip and hearsay didn't end up in a some blogger's post. People might have taken it as gospel or something.
