I can just picture the students who were interviewed for this article picking their nose while giving their quotes.

Do they actually believe the Jack Swarbrick (ND AD) has been roaming the halls worried that Women's soccer and Men's cross country teams dominance of the BE was a problem and the solution was to move to the ACC?
If one tried to give a comment that said "I have no idea what I'm talking about" could they come up with better quotes than this article has?
Yeah, Notre Dame was dominating the Big East anyway. They choked every year in basketball and were 1-1 against the BE in football last year. But they are guaranteed now to get a bowl berth because along with Syracuse and Pitt they will be playing in a joke of a FB conference that assures them of a winning season.
"Junior Calie Mohamed of Brawley, Calif., said while she understands it was a positive move for Notre Dame athletics overall, the football team should join the ACC as well.
"I mean it's a good decision because we were dominating all the Big East teams," she said. "But it's kind of giving a stigma to football by excluding it. You're separating it from all other sports at the school."
In related news, Junior Calie Mohamed, was asked to leave Notre Dame today after being informed that she wasn't proper Notre Dame alumni material.
Who really cares. Notre Dame is a Nothin'. Prima Donna School. Sucks the NCAA and lives on its FORMER Reputation.
It's funny to read an article like this and know that there are still ND fans/alums out there who don't understand why so many people dislike ND and think they're a bunch of pretentious jags.
In 14 events versus ND last year, MU teams won only two. Men's soccer and Women's volleyball. And that is before MU has its first lacrosse season. The Olympics sports do matter at ND. Fact.

They have a losing record in football to the teams that make up the new Big East over at least the last five seasons (I didn't check beyond that). Don't blame them for leaving, I'm pretty certain they were instrumental in our getting into the Big East in the first place. So good-bye and good luck.
