Just saw they are ranked #13 in the country - in the Soccer America poll. whoa! I know they finished last regular season well, i just had no idea that were this good.
Off to a hot start but they haven't played the toughest competition yet.
Seems as though they started where they left off last year-hot.
Kudos to Bennett thus far. And this is all without their best offensive weapon C. Nortey.

Both Michigan B1G teams this weekend. And their Big East division is no joke.

Is he coming back? I know his knee is hurt
It's awesome that our soccer team is doing well and hopefully they continue their success.
Not to highjack the thread but have you guys seen the LAX schedule that came out yesterday, damn is it tough. We play multiple heavyweights and end the season with Duke at valley fields.
I love how our other sports are starting to make a name for themselves.
MU soccer now one of the final 3 undefeated teams in D1. congrats.
And ranked #7. You'll see us in the valley during Family Weekend.
Extremely impressed and to be honest a little pissed.
I spent Louis Bennett's career at MU going to many a game when they sucked for 5 years. Now I graduate and move out of Milwaukee and they start tearing it up.
Really didn't see this success coming, assistant head man Anderson is gone too. If/when they get C. Nortey back, look out!
Axel Sjorberg is a stud defender who at 6'7" really is a lethal weapon on corner kicks. I think MU's success might have been accelerated if Bennett's earlier recruits like 6'5" stud Stefan Antonijevic hadn't had to transfer.
Way to go Louis and lads!!
Marquette Wins!!! Beats Wisconsin with 2 minutes left in overtime. Huftalin with the goal. 9-0-0...best start by far in Marquette history.
Good stuff man!
They are the last high major team left with a perfect record, quite the feat considering their schedule has not been full of walkovers (3 big ten teams).
I doubt C is coming back this season, but man would that have been fun to watch. Huftalin and Islami are good grinders, but neither has the speed or composure C brought. And you are completely right on Axle, Stone, he is a brick wall in the back and draws double teams on every set piece.
Barring injuries, this team will contend for a Big East crown, quite a feat seeing as there are 6 Big East teams in most top-25s.
New commitment for 2013 Jose "Coco" Navarro out of Arizona. Now that Marcelo Santos was elevated to assistant maybe we will recruit more hispanic kids. Just speculation.

Tell me more about this Louis kid.
61st ranked recruit in US.
Nice article in MJS about Andrija Novakovich. Great kid who plays for Muskegp high school and played for Chicago Fire training team. Has 37 goals and 14 assists. Best player in the state and he is only a junior. Will join MU soccer team in 2014.

On another note, the men's soccer team is tearing it up and they are without their best player... C. Nortney who was on the freshman all American team last year.
