Marquette opens Big East play at home Jan. 1 vs. Connecticut
               




Five of the first seven Big East games for Marquette will be home games, according to the schedule that was announced Wednesday by the conference.

Isn't Wolfley an alum?  Maybe they should put him on as the beat writer for the Warriors.

Only two Big East road games (Seton Hall & Rutgers)are not on one of the espn stations.

Big East Network is part of ESPN.

Today's New Haven Register gave an overview of UConn's schedule.  They had this comment about the Jan. 1 game with Marquette:

"A sort of homecoming for UConn freshman forward Phil Nolan, who hails from the Suds City."

Latest is that Calhoun may not be coming back now.  May be positioning Kevin Ollie to succeed him.
