Helps to have those three recruits in a favorable light with the recruiting experts.

Why is MU rated ahead of Too Tanned Tommy? Thought Crean sets the gold standard.

Where is Kentucky?  Are they saving their money for a last minute run?

Kentucky is expected to get the Harrison Twins and is heavily involved with Julius Randle. I don't think they'll get Parker, but landing 3 of the top 4 players is a very realistic possibility, and they will likely have the #1 recruiting class again.

Part of the reason we are ranked so high is because of early commits.  If you look at the top 100, hardly anyone has committed.  We will likely be pushed down the rankings, but if we are able to pull in Nunn, or another top 100-125 prospect, we will still be ranked very high.  Great job by Buzz.

Not to pick on St. Mary's College, but how does a school with two recruits ranked in the 140s come in at 20?

You look at the rankings and you can conclude one thing. Mckay is really good. Michigan's two top high school recruits are ranked 31st and 44th. Marquette's two top high scool recruits are ranked 53rd and 54th, which should easily put Michigan ahead of MU. Michigan's third recruit is ranked 104th, which is a good player. MU's third recruit is a JC player. If Mckay was only slightly better than Michigan's 3rd recruit Michigan would still be rated ahead of us. McKay must be considered a real stud to move MU's class ahead of Michigan's class.

I'll let Sultan handle that...

In addition, St. Mary's has a commitment from Australian U-19 player Dane Pineau. No idea how good he is, but it's at least another body.
