Marquette looked great this afternoon, as five players got into double figures, three of whom came off the bench to get their double. Marquette shot very well, shooting 46% FG, and 48% from beyond the arc.
However .. Marquette started very slow, the first 8 minutes were brutal. I think we set a record for the "standing up until MU scores" thing. And I had my 17 pound child in my arms, which really isn't fun for 5 minutes, waiting for a simple basket.
MU ended that scoreless streak, MU got dialed in, and absolutely whomped EMU. Enough so that Kuphall, a walk on, got in with about 6 minutes to go, which is also probably a new record for guys at the end of the bench.
Here's a few pictures I shot from my seat.
