Some summer highlights.

Switchables must be able to dribble, pass and shoot. Deonte shows all three plus tremendous finishing at the rim including a sweet reverse layup. It's exciting.
I think you'd be hard pressed to find many players in the 2013 class that take it to the hoop as hard as Burton does.
I watch that clip and only one word comes to mind: Beast.
He is awfully fun to watch. Very excited about what he will do at MU.
Granted its an edited mix tape - but for being from one event there were several times when he made the better option assist pass even after doing a drop step dribble or starting a hard charge toward the hoop - very much like that - utlimately you hope your most talented players understand to some extent - 1) when to take over when the game is in the balance because they are the best player on the court, and 2) when to exploit the defense who knows you are the best player in order to get easier baskets from teammates. Seemed there was 'some' evidence of that here, which is a bonus
Baring injury Burton will have a bigger impact on the college level then at least 2/3 of the guys rated in front of him. The reason he is not rated higher is he does not project as a 3 in the pro's but I think he will make a great wing Forward on the college Level. To think that Wilson and Mckay (asuming the 6-9 1/2 in shoes is accurate) probably at this point project better in the pro's then Burton tells you how good these 3 guys could be.

To the ranking services consider NBA projections when evaluating HS players?
I thought they focused on college only... but I could be wrong.
I think they tend to do alot of projecting of players ceilings if that is for the pro's or college. In general undersized or players that are not great ahtletes tend to be underrated. They tend to get hung up on players with protypical size for the postion they project them at. IMO
Dude punishes traditionals. Can't wait for when we play Bucky.
Well played reinko!!

4x Dunk Champion at Marquette Madness, it's already set.
I don't know what sticks out more to me after the dunk...the big coach with his..."eeeYAAHHH!" celebration, or the mildness of the crowd...
If this were And-1 or any of the pro-ams where there's a guy walking around (and sometimes on) the court with a mic, you KNOW the crowd would have swarmed the court.

Brett Roseboro?
to me, he looks like a Dominique Jones/Rodney Stuckey type player, but with a little extra size/athleticism to allow him to successfully play the wing in college
