Here's a little perspective, since secondary violations are all the talk.

Expect Auburn and / or LSU to announce 28 tomorrow.
Clearly, Mal Moore wants to run Nick Saban out of Tuscaloosa, by leaking this to the AP.
Damn, at MU we're real pikers. Where's the ambition?

Hell, those are probably just the ones committed by Matthieu, aka honey badger.

Despite its name, the honey badger does not closely resemble other badger species, instead it bears more anatomical similarities to weasels.
Imagine that, reporting a secondary violations as a secondary violations. Why didn't Alabama just say we are under investigation for 27 recruiting violations... that is MU style, is it not?
I guess Alabama has done it before and know how to do it to limit the bad press. :)

Actually, this sort of thing is so common at Alabama (and at other SEC schools, I might imagine) that the school's compliance department publishes an annual report detailing violations.
At least they said what most of the violations were.

Is it an additional secondary violation to spell "University" as "Univaersity" on your summary of your secondary violations?
ROLL DAM TIED.

That is just the southern drawl. ;D
Reporting self reported secondary violations for what they are (secondary) with specifics as much as 13 months after the fact versus telling Don Walker that MU is under NCAA investigation for an unspecified recruiting violation (secondary? death penalty type?) over what now appears to be a minor one. Alabama 1 MU 0.

I hear Walker contacted the university for a statement long before this was public. Either he has a source within the NCAA or someone internal leaked it when they weren't supposed to. It sounded like the university didnt even have a chance to get the info out there if they wanted to.

A source inside Marquette is most likely. Might behoove MU to plug that leak with a pink slip if possible.
wait, reporters with sources? wow, that's really old school 8-)
