Interesting...new assistant Doug Martin appears to have lied about attending Green Bay and playing for Dick Bennett, instead maybe attended NAIA school Viterbo and averaged 2 points per game. He was coaching high school in Virginia when Jay Wright hired him a few days ago. That's really the best hire Villanova can manage?
Who cares where he played or did not
If he can coach he can coach

I wouldn't care where he played. I would care that he felt compelled to lie about it.
I understand this same coach is a fabulous source for Disneyland tickets
Gone.
From these articles, it looks like Jay Wright was just looking to join the trend of hiring an AAU coach solely for recruiting advantages. Oops.

I know he has since resigned over the resume issue, but what made it a bad hire before that came out? And make no mistake, his connection to the Team Takeover AAU program was likely the main reason for his hire. You MUST be able to get players to win.

If he can lie, he can recruit.
But, is that who you want recruiting for you?
