8 man rotation of Otule, Gardner, JWilson, Taylor, Lockett, Blue, Mayo, Junior. 9th is DWilson. Juan does not progress due to shoulder injury, Ferguson takes a year to develop, Jake is a situational shooter.

refresh my memory if you will...the story with juan's shoulder being basketball was???
Sounds about right. Be interesting to see how many minutes Taylor gets and what the rotations look like.
5- Chris
4- JWill
3- Lockett
2- Blue
1- JC
Also run out a different look:
5- JWill
4- Lockett
3- Blue
2- Mayo
1- JC

I think you pretty much nailed it. The only concern I have is if Taylor can really give good minutes this year. Time will tell.

I think Taylor will be good for two fouls a game.
With mayo back it could change how nunn views us

Personally, I can't wait for Jake to go off in garbage time against NC Central and then have this board explode when he gets a "DNP - Coach's Decision" in the BE opener.

Given his age and what appears to be academic struggles, I am doubtful that Mayo has more than one year left at MU. Even if Mayo does hang around, Illinois, Memphis, Ohio State and UCLA aren't exactly known for having many gaping holes in their lineups at guard.

i wouldn't say that i "can't wait" for that to happen, but i do think you're correct. i was hoping he could be that zone buster, but after watching him in the pro-am i just don't think he has the physical attributes needed to guard at a BEAST level. hope i'm wrong.
actually kind of reminds me of the walk-on at Ohio State who used to do the funny blog. i remember watching videos of him thinking it was amazing how good he was just to be a walk-on. great shooter, could dunk the ball, etc.

I still think Thomas is better than most people think. He also is the type of player Buzz likes, because he plays hard every possession.
