Cadougan and Blue were jawing during the majority of their game today at the Pro_Am. It came to a head when Blue got T'd up right after halftime. After a hard foul from Blue on a Cadougan drive, and a little more talking, Blue ended up shoving Cadougan in the back.
I know these guys are both hot-heads a well as fierce competitors, but it got real awkward at the end there. Anyone there think this was par for the course? I mean it was nothing like how Junior has gotten into it with others, but Blue just wouldn't let it drop. Really odd... But they were smiling again in the end, so maybe I'm the one reading to much into it.
He called him Vander Orange and sh*t got real.
Probably just arguing about how many minutes per game Jake Thomas will get this year.
Reading way, way too far into it....Pro-Am games are bragging rights. And when it's August, and there are no other bragging rights to be had (and these bragging rights are in front of certain f fans...) it gets heated. Nothing to see here.
All started with a friendly discussion about IP addresses and ended with Blue insinuating that Cadougan was Chicos, Hoop, and Rob.
I heard that they met for a beer afterwards.

You will not be very good, if you are going to back off in Big East basketball.
I wrote Buzz an email about it. We'll see what he says.

I just hope Vander and Junior aren't ordering their teammates to beat each other up in retaliation...

I hope he at least gave Derrick Wilson a slap of five. Because that is the sole measure of how good a teammate someone is.

Was this before or after the exchange of disneyland tickets?
And a quick question, did I miss hoopaloop getting banned?

Be sure to get his permission to post a confidential email that he sent to some fan he doesn't know.

He made me sign a confidentiality agreement and non-compete before he'd respond to me this time.

I'm sure Vander was annoyed with Junior scoring on him quite a bit - and a few times where it looked as though Blue was locking in defensively and Junior dribbled/crossed him over/launched in his face and rained 3's. He actually beat Vander off the dribble a couple of times as well..which surprised me. Perhaps Vander wasn't very locked in, but as competitors, nobody likes getting scored on in droves.

Junior said Vander Blue was being a bigger bitch than TJ Taylor

Who...?
I wouldn't be surprised if it started as Blue saying something along the lines of, you're not going to even score one point on me. Than JC decides to show him his game and goes off for 72 pts. If that didn't get to Vander a bit I would question his competitiveness.
72 points with 13 3-pointers.
Jake who?

Hoopaloop wasn't banned per se. RockyWarrior was able to conclusively determine from ip logging that hooplaloop was, in fact, the previously banned Chicosbailbonds and Rocky then enforced the existing Chicos ban.

Not exactly that they were the same person, but that Chicos was logging on and posting from both accounts. So Hoop wasn't always Chicos, but sometimes he was.
Im amazed that someone would go through that much trouble to post on a message board, kindof has a lifetime movie feel to it
Good to see Tommy Brice get in the box score.
Hasn't anyone here ever competed in anything? The only thing worse than losing to your worst enemy is losing to your best friend.

+ a billion
And it never goes away. My best friend/golf buddy has never beat me in 18 years of golfing together. He has been taking lessons this year for the first time and was having a good day while I was having a bad day and I realized after 13 holes I was 4 shots down. I went one under the last 5 holes and managed to tie him with an 80. He was so pissed he didn't talk to me for a week. So, IMO, this is just another non-story involving Blue.

Agreed. We'll be able to bemoan his 28% shooting before too long.
Back to what matters: I didn't think Junior could hit 13 threes in a game if he was left alone in the gym.
And after watching my first Pro-Am games on Friday, I've gotta say that the defense played is pretty much like being left alone in the gym. I knew it was pick-up going in but I was a little shocked by how slow and sloppy it was. Could have been that Friday was just a weak day but the intensity seemed non-existant. Not sure I'd go again.
That said, I'm sure others have have had different experiences.
