Question:
Would DJ have been drafted in the second round?
Option 1: Yes
votes: 19
Option 2: No
votes: 28
The results will only appear after you have voted.
No. Looks like teams took out flyers out on overseas players and players with size. Second, look where TGreen went. I don't think DJ goes ahead of him.
I don't think he'd get picked either. There's a lot of height that was picked in the 2nd round and if you were not over 6'5", you probably could shoot the ball or score at will at times.
I think if Jared Jordan got drafted (out of Marist) then DJ would have been drafted. DJ's ceiling has to be higer than his.

Understandable, but Jared was much more consistent at Pre-Draft camp and showed himself to be more NBA-ready. DJ might have a high ceiling, but he didn't show a lick to the scouts to be guaranteed a spot in the second round. From most mock drafts, Jared was project to go in the second round (which he did).
the Lakers picked a guard from China who I haven't heard much if anything about, I think they may have considered DJ. Granted I didn't pay that much attention to the draft so I could be wrong.
the correct decision, 'nough said.

Sad doesn't convey the level of misjustice that this is. I've cried myself to sleep the last three nights thinking about that one.
