On his twitter pick. I take it that he is a Badger lean at this point?
I take that as he's wearing a Wisconsin shirt in his Twitter picture.
Yes he is. And Bronson Koening says some Wink Wink and Nudge Nudge stuff that Im not liking
Well, we've been known to grab a bluechip who had early interest in madison.
In addition, it turns out when players that MU is pursuing go elsewhere, the program doggedly soldiers on. He would be a great get and it would be cool to really cement that Milwaukee connection. If he goes elsewhere, MU and Buzz will find a way.
I haven't heard much on his recruitment (in part because it hasn't really picked up), but I'd be shocked if he made a decision any time soon. The blue bloods haven't really come calling yet.
How many times have we seen a video or seen pictures of guys in MU shorts and they didn't come here? Probably too many to count. I'm not going to put much stock into him talking to Koening or the shirt, especially this early in the process. I feel we are in a good spot with Duane Wilson being around him a lot.

TWITTA TRACKER!!!!!!!!!
Bronson said he liked his shirt and Diamond said "lol I bet you do". Then Bronson thought the glasses were a bit much and Diamond said "naw!".
Pretty damning evidence. Bo's clearly already gotten the verbal.
Not an issue. Stone can always change his attire at Topper's crib in the Bay.

Those two sound a bit to chummy for me, like Bronson already knows that Bo has a verbal from Diamond. I think we need to go on to the next target

No worries, Koening clearly blew it for Bo with the comment on Stone's glasses.

yeah that's because our jersey's are actually cool.
fools. wednesday is laundry day. he's pickin up bottom of the barrel.
Verbal to Bo? Are you joking? He's only a sophomore. Yeah, he's going to commit to UW...before he even hears from UNC, Duke, or Kentucky. Why join an elite team when he can hook up with Bo's slowdown band of crew-cut crusaders. Let's see what happens when the big boys start getting serious.
This is kid isn't staying in Wisconsin, I've already moved on.
Are you people serious?
The guy hasn't even started his sophomore year and you think he's given a verbal to Bo? And you've "moved on?"
Need I remind you about Vander Blue, who gave an early verbal to Bo, and ended up here? Or Jamil Wilson, who was highly ranked at this point of his college career before going out of state? This may not get resolved in the next 24 months, and you have already written him off because he is wearing a Wisconsin basketball shirt?
Remember who the point guard at Dominican is this year!!
Stone is only wearing a shirt. Todd Mayo has a freaking West Virginia tattoo and Huggy couldn't reel him in!!
Trust Buzz
If Buzz is here when Stone is ready for college I will take our chances big time. We would have had a couple more years of building Buzz's system with his players and I believe it will be a destination school for local kids and those wanting to play at next level. Everything comes down to Buzz and the program he is running.

This seems like a reasonable and well thought out plan.
Buzz should listen to you.

Bo Ryan is already 60+ years old. I doubt he'll be alive by the time Diamond Stone graduates.

I've moved on as I don't think MU will be able to land him and I'm just being a debbie downer, not because he was wearing a UW shirt. The little optimism I have is that MU and UW are really the only schools being heavily mentioned so far. I know it's early, but with these caliber of recruits the powerhouses do get involved this early.

I was just making fun of KenoshaWarrior for reading wayyyyy too much into two harmless tweets. Should have used teal apparently...
I think every 15-year-old kid who loves basketball has a T-shirt of a few nearby colleges

His stake to the heart is an uptempo playbook.
I 'member talkin' to Chones in the Varsity during freshman orientation. He was wearin' a Michigan State windbreaker.
Koenig has rocked Marquette gear post-Becky commit.
Not a big deal. Except when Wade does it.
I've actually still got a badger shirt from high school. Wear it when I'm burping a baby.

And that's the bottom line, cause Stone Cold said so.
It can and will kill a shirt.

More importantly, look at this picture...

Easily as tall as Anthony Davis if not taller, sounds like 6'10 is a bit conservative...

Confirm that. Had an MU sweatshirt on after their first HS playoff game this year.

Who writes that? Anyone connected to the program?
Looks like ddsam from the Scout board. I'm not sure how good his information is, but he comes off as an insider on that board.
Ryan Evans is his first cousin.
I noticed that he wears a ton of red and black. His glasses are also red as well. If he truly wasnt going to verbal to Bo and UW than why would he wear badger colors in every photo? This really is not a good sign.

I wore a red shirt to work today. Is that because I'm a closet Badger fan?

Maybe the cat digs Alabama, Nebraska, Cornell, and IU. Or you're right, we're uck-fayed. The sun'll come up tomorrow, dude. Chill.
Lol. This thread is hilarious. I would much rather have the kid constantly in Marquette's gym but randomly wearing UW t-shirts instead of having him constantly being in UW's gym and wearing MU t-shirts. I'd be willing to bet he has a ton of MU stuff as well, anyway.
I'd also rather have one of his best friends and his current high school teammate coming to MU than have his cousin who is 7 years older than he is going into his last year in our program. I was (and still am) closer to my high school teammates than I was/am to my older cousins.
The kid is 15 years old and going into his sophomore year of high school. He is a long way from a decision, and even longer away from a final decision. I'm 23 years old and there is no rhyme or reason to the color of shirt I wear to work every day. Whatever shirt is at the top of the pile in my dresser every day is the one that goes on my body for the day. I have an Ohio State hoody on in my Facebook picture. I hate Ohio State. I will be rooting for Marquette when they play them this year, believe it or not, despite what my social networking picture would suggest. It's an article of clothing. Until it is the jersey he is actually wearing in college, it means nothing.

This is a great point.
I wore carpenter jeans in 1996 (I was 16), and now I'm a carpenter.
I also had a friend who worked at Old Navy, and now he's in the Navy.
These aren't coincidences.
Read the signs.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Chris Brown does love wearing wife beaters...
According to one the Badger Rivals writer I am assured that Diamond has not given a secret verbal too Bo as I thought he might of. He says Diamond has a long way to go as he will be offered by everyone in the country. I was told by a different source that he loves Badger football and that Danny Obrien, Barry, and some of the new players plan to be at a lot of Dominican games to capitalize of the badger sweatshirt. It seems like Bucky has found a big angle to work with that sweatshirt. I am hoping we find one soon!!!! before it is to late

I can't believe you're the only one here still taking this thread seriously...
Let's start a scoop letter writing campaign to Diamond and include MU swag! We'll know it's working if he wears our stuff and when we get smacked down by the NCAA.

Honestly? A sweatshirt?
How about a good friend who is his PG? That a good enough angle for MU?
Rest easy, there is no way in hell he goes to UW. If he stays in state it will be at Marquette.
I'm going to go out on a limb and and submit that Kenosha has his tongue firmly in cheek in this thread - the alternative (that he is serious) is almost beyond comprehension.
