Title: Wesley in the Pro-Am
Post by: Clam Crowder on July 03, 2012, 10:11:08 AM
Scion Dental has Steve Taylor, Junior, and Wesley...I think they probably have it in the bag. Hodan, Doster, and Ganzer have a good team too with Jamal, Ox, and Van. Also RYCO has Lockett and Jamil. I am pretty excited to watch these guys play it will be my first time being able to go. Notable although not super surprising exclusion from any roster is Mayo.

Have they upped the limit from two to three or was it always three players from one school per team?  And I guess it's three scholarship players since Baird has two scholarship players and both walk-ons?

I believe IWB said that incoming players don't count against the allotment.

Don't overlook the other squads. The Gruber team is stacked. Miles McKay is one of the best players every year in the MPA, still amazed he played at Whitewater, and Jerry Smith, Ricky Franklin, and Steven Gruber make up a very good and versatile backcourt. The brewcityball.com team is also solid. Dejuante Wade was the best big in the MPA last year, while Boo Wade, JP Gavinski, and Quemont Greer provide solid size and athleticism inside. While Cadougan/WesMat may be the best 1-2 combo, who knows how many games Matthews will play (he skipped some weekends last year) and there's a lot of talent at this thing.
