It is the first step in improving graduation rates by teaching the UCONN players where Germany actually is.

SpaceX can be the sponsor!
Wonder if this is something they are going to be using as a recruiting tool because isn't UConn banned from the tourney this year?
Supplement a tourney trip with a trip to Germany..
No wonder Nolan signed with UCONN. Probably wanted to sniff them Fräulein.
Just what UConn needs. More time away from the classroom.

I think kids would rather go to Maui. ;D
Being that the 9th is a Friday, I can't imagine they'll be able to spread out the game times so they dont overlap. Are we going to be relagated to ESPN the Ocho? Or even worse, TruTV?

The game at Rammstein is gonna have to be in the late morning / early afternoon. The carrier game on the west coast should be starting 2hrs after ours at the latest. Time zones do a lot of the work for you.

QuoteThe game would tip-off sometime after 10 p.m. locally in Germany in order for it to be seen in the early evening on the East Coast. ESPN would broadcast the game

I missed that, sorry about that. 10PM in Germany is 3PM CST IIRC. There's still plenty of time to space it out.

You are correct that Ramstein is 7 hours ahead of us, though I don't know how Daylight Savings Time affects that. So if they play the game at 11 PM local that would be 5PM Eastern which would be plausible. Then have Marquette-tOSU at 7 right after.
next year, the great wall of muthafukkin china.
