Remember it's early. a lot of schools could/should catch us. It's nice to be in discussion, though.
I am sure we will end up in the 10-12 range when all is said and done. Kentucky hasn't done its business yet and alot of the top guys are still out there. That being said we will definitely be back in the top 25 recruiting class rankings after missing it last year.
I predict that Kentucky will end up with the No. 1 recruiting class.
Congratulations to Buzz and coaches for the outstanding recruiting job!!!

Only 32 of the Scout top 100 have committed. There's going to be a lot of change in this chart.

It's great to have our guys commit with the first third of the commitments. Screw suspense.
Between now and April of next year UK will have 3 top 25 players commit like always. It's nice to be #2 in the nation at this point, but most teams are not done recruiting for 2013, like we already are assuming no roster spots open up.

Not if UNC lands Julius Randle which is very possible.

UK has a chance at Jabari Parker and are pushing hard for the Harrison twins and now Aaron Gordon.
It'll be interesting to see what happens with Burton and Wilson, especially Wilson. He's been rising rapidly, and could end up in the top-25 if his rise continues. I think that we have a decent chance to stay in the top-5, definitely top-10, if he keeps rising, especially if we end up with a 4th recruit added.

Exactly what I was thinking. Wilson is shooting up these lists, and if he turns heads at the NBPA 100 camp & Deron Williams camp, I could see him passing Burton when the final lists come out. PG's with his combination of size, athleticism and scoring ability aren't exactly a "dime a dozen." And I don't doubt there will be a 4th high quality name added to the list. While I expect us to drop once Kentucky and others start selecting their McD's AAs, I think we'll stay top 10 and possibly top 5 in this list and others, especially if McKay is properly accounted for in the others (as he seems to be here).

I see what you did there ;)
we did all this without leaving the 414 area code!!!

I'm still skeptical, according to the journal he's only 3rd team all state in Wisconsin...
Even though we almost surely will be eclipsed, this is still very cool.
For some reason, it made me laugh a little reading the author's notes about our class, calling the three recruits "high major prospects." As in: "Holy crap, believe it or not, Marquette was able to land high major prospects. Incredible, huh? What next, pigs flying?"
It's nice to be rated that highly (congrats to Buzz and staff) but wait until the 2012 checks clear and Cal can open the checkbook again.
This is great for the program. It's powerful for recruiting as an ELITE team.

Yeah, but what are reliable sources saying?

I know. Pretty damn exciting. I've been waiting 10 + years for the talent pipeline to be turned full bore in Milwaukee.

ZFB finally spread his seed around enough to find a few winners.
Thought he used to gig in the early 2000's. He ushered in the wave of non-qualifiers.
We got high majors, can you believe it. I'm sure many are shocked, especially the people that think Marquette is in Michigan!

My guess is most of them still think Marquette is in Michigan.
