We have Burton, Wilson and McKay coming in 2013. Since they are all from Milwaukee, a good nickname for them can be the MKE 3
Only for fun. feel free to post nicknames for the trio!
That sounds like something you hear on the news after a shoot out and they are giving a catchy nickname to the shooters.
I still think Milwakuee's Best is a good one and also sort of serves as a veiled recruiting tactic for the best players in Milwaukee to strive to attain.
It'd be more than a little fun if there was a way to add a fourth guy and name them The Four Horsemen.

We'd turn into Notre Dame after that. What next.. SLU!!?!??!

L-R: McKay, DWilson, Looney, Burton, Stone
Milwaukee's Best reminds me of homeless people buying 6 packs of that garbage "beer." We can do better.

I wasn't homeless; I lived at 18th and Wells (across from the homeless mission).
I like Milwaukee's Best as a beer and a nickname.
I believe Milwaukee's Best was the name of Latrell Sprewell's repossessed boat. Better be careful with that moniker, Spree might sue. He could probably use the cash.
How about Badger Beaters?

I'd rather be SLU.
I like "The Trinity" and Milwaukees Best is good because then Looney and Stone can be apart of it. I think making a nickname that could possibly include them if they choose to come to MU would be best.

Let's let 'em know how bad we want 'em and call the team the Looney Stones!
Better yet the Stoned Loonies!
I like Milwaukee's Best.
Absolutely nothing including the number three. We don't want to exclude Looney and Stone. I like Milwaukee's Best. Whatever it is, 1-2 words max. More likely to flow better.
How about Buzz's BMW!

We also don't want to get carried away with the importance of this nickname. :)

We could use the nickname for the world's worst beer. "Milwaukee's Beast"
I vote the "Brew Crew"
The Three Amigos?
Final 414
Run MKE
How about Warriors?

Run MKE
NICE. With the local flavor and style of play, this could be perfect.
I REALLY like the "Milwaukee's Best" moniker......however, is that a brand that is known outside of this region? I have no idea...
Maybe something that references Milwaukee's beer history AND basketball?
Milwaukee's Hops?
OR
something with "Hops" in it?
Hops and Farley? ;D

Absolutely. I believe it is still the official sponsor of ESPN's World Series of Poker.

Unfortunately that's
Old Milwaukee not Milwaukee's Best in those clips. Milwaukee's Best was made by Pabst, Old Milwaukee by Schlitz. They went head-to-head in the bargain beer category.

And Miller provides the beer for the BMO Harris Bradley Center (had to write it once), so they could possibly start offering Milwaukee's Best. Sell it for $1 less than the standard Miller products. Be a great tie-in, and while Marquette might not want to be associated with Miller products, I'm sure that Miller chooses what to offer the BMOHBC (god is that unwieldy).
Okay, while trying to think of a nickname for those guys, I did come up with a student section name (remember that thread awhile back?)

Ugh, in my haste and excitement to post those videos, I overlooked that point. "old milwaukee" doesn't have the same ring...

I like the old-school feel of Run MKE.
