Morning Scoopers,
Won't bore you with a ton of details, but wanted to connect to see if any Milwaukee-area alums are in need for some part-time help (20-30 hours per week.) My father recently lost his job in sales after 27 years, and after some shady dealings by his boss, it looks like he won't be able to collect unemployment insurance. He is in mid-60's, never afraid of a hard days work, but just in a pretty crapty situation. He is already insured, so no benefits would be necessary.
My pops worked his ass off to get myself and my sister through Marquette, but if you or know of someone that may be able to help, please PM me.
Thanks for your time.
We are Marquette.
Edit: I understand the above is not a ton to go on, but thought explaining details, skills, timeline and the like would be easier over PM. Thanks again
Is he contacting a lawyer regarding the unemployment insurance? Unemployment insurance fraud is something the state doesn't look to kindly upon.
can't help from SoCal but my wife had same problem and appealed to the State and an arbiter ruled in her favor
Good Luck!
