The guy to keep an eye on right now is Milton Doyle. Wouldn't be surprised at all if he is schollie No. 13.

Thin frame but his game is like Wade's: all over the fricking place!

Somewhere Todd Smith salivates....Doyle would be a great addition.

I've heard great things about Doyle.

I wouldn't really get the recruitment of jalen James though.

Doyle is a SG. Class of 2012.

James is a PG. Class of 2013.

We already have a PG in class of 2013 in Duane Wilson who I much much prefer.

Can't see MU going after James when they already have Wilson coming in. I'm sure James' pulling his commitment and Chew joininggMU is just a coincidence.

He apparently visited Kansas a few weeks ago.  He missed his whole junior season with a broken wrist so is a bit of an unknown.  Originally committed to FIU and bailed when they fired Isaiah Thomas.

Well we happened to be one of about 5 or so schools to be in contact already. Im confused about this as well.

Correct. He's not ranked because of this reason and he also did not play aau in the summer. If guys dont play aau and miss a whole season their junior year which is usually viewed as most important year of evals and recruiting, one can see why he is unranked. He blew up his senior year and has high major athleticism with a huge upside.

Assuming we want him and Kansas wants him, I wonder how much of a difference it makes that we are going to be playing Ohio St on an aircraft carrier? That would seem to me to be something that would be pretty cool to be part of and could be a recruiting advantage for Dolye who is a 2012 recruit.

A off guard recruit for Kansas had not gotten a good enough test score as of Doyle's visit.  the recruit tweeted that he qualified (I think this week) and Kansas has not offered Doyle at this point and does not sound like they are going to.  They are full at 13 with the last recruit getting cleared.

On there boards they sound like he is coming to Marquette.

Personally I would prefer size.

Like Durley?  I'm sure we would all prefer size, but only if it has a chance to contribute.

Another 4-star PG never hurts.  I'd rather have a talented player on the roster than bank a scholarship.  You never know who's going to x-fer or go down to injury.

Get 'em Buzz :)

Doyle is not a PG and is not a 4 star.  James is 2013 same as duanne Wilson.  Doyle is a 2-3 wing just like Vander, Ferguson, and TJ Taylor.

That info was all linked above and nobody has said otherwise.  Thanks for clearing that up though.   ::)

I think we should sign Uthoff and James and them focus on stealing somebody from Indiana!    ;D :D

Having lived through the 2004-2005 season when Diener broke his wrist & our starting center had to play PG, I agree with this wholeheartedly.

Jalen James is ranked 40 at the PG position and D.Wilson is ranked 8 on Espn. We need a big forward with the last scollie.
