Ok, I did my best on creating a mascot section on the wiki. But some of the pages are woefully short.
Now I KNOW some of you guys out there remember more about these guys than I do. Here's your chance to help out. I don't know what else to say, I've tried begging, and I created a wiki contest, but yet people are holding out on helping maintain MU history. That's pretty sad. :'(
So here's your chance. Please just try and edit one of these pages. Maybe you knew something about "Bleuteaux" or the guy who started the First Warrior. -- Look, if you're not able to figure out the wiki, just post in this thread, and I'll help move it to the right spot. PLEASE!

What's the deal here? NO ONE knows anything about the mascots? Didn't you go to Marquette? NO ONE is willing to help out?

I know one thing about our mascot. IT SUCKS AND EVERYBODY IS ASHAMED OF IT!!!!. (I guess that's two things).

The only reason I'm ashamed of the mascot is because I recently learned that he is a Cubs fan.

I know 'topper has posted regarding this a number of times. I also know the past month or so I've been super busy with life, so haven't contributed much to the wiki in that time either. Nonetheless, I've added a poll to this topic (see above) to try to get some idea why we only have a handful of wiki editors - please vote!
If it's *just* time, I can understand. If there's other barriers, I'd like to try to take care of them.
FYI, the Wiki draws a TON of traffic to MUScoop - when people search for Marquette sports info, they find it in
OUR wiki. It's a unique resource to this site, and most college sites don't have one of their own. So, I guess, I'm saying it's useful - just in case anyone thinks otherwise :)
Some helpful hints for those who want to contribute more to the Wiki:
* Google.com - try limiting/narrowing your searches though!
* Looksmart.com - Just one of a few FREE archiving search sites that have older MU info. Most now (read: newspaper companies) are charging subscriptions or one-time payments to view their archives.
* JSOnline.com - Some older MU info is on there.
* www.basketball-reference.com - The best way to get stats on MU players who played in the NBA. In fact, here's the direct link to MU Alums who were/are in the NBA. (http://www.basketball-reference.com/colleges/marquette.html)
