Good move

Good for Butler. This helps connect them with Xavier, Dayton, SLU, and St. Joes if everything goes to hell and the BE basketball schools join forces with the top A-10 programs.
A-10 has been and will continue to be a very representative hoops conference. Should BE go to football hell and MU need to get out, A-10 would be the No. 1 choice, and several other BE schools would be right there with them, methinks.
If they'll have us. With Butler they'll be up to 15. Adding MU, DePaul, Georgetown, Providence, Saint John's, Seton Hall and maybe Villanova is asking a lot. I don't think anyone in that conference has any reason to be loyal to us or DePaul, particularly the schools we've skipped out on in the past (Butler, Xavier, Saint Louis, Dayton & Charlotte). East Coast schools first, I would think.
Wouldn't the more likely scenario be that we keep the Big East brand name and invite the A10 cream?

Yea, I think that's more likely if it disbands completely. If it devolves into mediocre football only however, we'd be forced to beg the A-10 for admittance.
Oh my God! What does this mean for UWM basketball?

Obviously, with the Horizon now imploding, Green Bay's big man needs to transfer to MU! Sorry, Brian.
