Wait, if we are going to have the massive Hiroshima transfers in a few weeks, why did Buzz need to cut Durley?

Did Buzz or someone else help Aaron hook up with TCU.

TCU's new coach Trent Johnson was the head coach at Stanford when Larry Williams hired Stanford Associate Head Coach Eric Reveno a few years back for Portland and it wouldn't surprise me if either Larry, Buzz or Mike Broeker called Johnson when he became the new TCU coach on behalf of Aaron.  MU have a home and home with LSU, so there's some familiarity with Broeker as well.  May be nothing but speculation on my part.

I think I remember that there was some relationship between Buzz and Trent Johnson. Congrats to Durley! Hopefully he has a nice career at TCU.

With all the spots opened by transfers all over the country, the timing of this makes me thinks that he knew about the MU situation for awhile.

I hope so.  That would be the right thing to do and would not surprise me based on Buzz's character.
