Bart Lundy has joined Tony Benford's staff at North Texas:

Not Hiroshima, but it seems Buzz will likely have to look outside the program to fill some of his vacancies.
Good pickup for Benford.. Really happy for him. I was very impressed with Lundy.
However I think Marquette and Buzz should be able to find proven qualified assistants from mid/mid-high major schools in replacements. Similar to what Benford was when we got him.
Best of luck to Coach Lundy. I think that his contributions to our program were great and I think that he broadened his career as a result of being at MU. Coach Benford got a good one to assist him at UNT. UNT gets 2 coaches that have been through the Big East wars and will carry that knowledge into the upcoming seasons.

Paging Joe Fulce
Cause he has experience and a stellar coaching resume? Or because you want to be nice to him? Usually you have to earn college assistant/DBO jobs. I could see him taking McNeilly's spot first maybe and getting experience.
paging some AAU coach/assistant... Can we rack up the recruits just like UCLA?
Perhaps Tom Diener? A lot of Milwaukee talent coming up nowadays and he is a Milwaukee coaching LEGEND. The guy certainly has a wealth of experience coaching.

Not advocating Joe...... said it because Buzz has said he would like to keep him around.

Diener wouldn't be bad, I don't know if he's got the motivation to recruit though. I'm hoping we can land a young up and comer guy like this, with area roots who already made his bones somewhat.

We hire him we know it's either going to be Championship city time or Probation time. Are we ready to gamble big time?

He recruited Kevon Looney to play at Hamilton.....maybe he could recruit him again? ;)
Other Hamilton players of note:
6'6" F David Burrell (2014) ranked #56 nationally by future150.com

I get going to a smaller school to become a head coach, but going from MU to UNT as a lateral move is a little perplexing. Of course, he may have more of a say as to what goes on, but I'm sure the pay is much less.

Lundy will likely be an assistant at UNT, he was DBO here, a lesser position. If Buzz wasn't going to move him into an assistant role, this is definitely a move up.

+1 He'll start a pipeline from the southside. If there's one thing this team needs its more Polocks . . .

Right...and my guess is Buzz wasn't going to consider him and that is why he left.
DBO is akin to being a gopher?
