was just watching the replay of this and thought I remembered reading somewhere that DJO was supposed to be in the 3pt contest.
Anyone know if i was just making this up or not???
He withdrew because he had a class that night.
I saw that Shurna ended up winning. I've seen the kid play a fair amount a couple of times live, and I can't get over his odd form. Any chance this guy is playing in the NBA next year? You figure somebody will bring him in and give him a shot.
His shot is not the issue. I really like him. His strength and quickness are not in line with others in the Association. But, the kid can hoop.
I had not watched him all year, then he popped up near the top of value add by the end o the year - but the NBA boards indicate no interest unless someone is keeping it close to the vest.
Shurna is a good traditional.
Tall enough, maybe he latches on with a team.
Maybe FP and LW knew what they were talking about when they told Buzz to recruit more Northwestern types!
