Well, he was in the circle. But ya really got to hand it to the guy. Never thought he would make the NBA.

Yeah.
But on a roster full of veterans and large contracts, he was a no-brainer for the Celtics who needed some kind of interior defender once Perkins left for OKC.
Then again, don't give TOO MUCH credit to an organization that drafted Luke Harangody. ;)

When it leads to Dan Shulman & Hubie Brown cracking jokes about how Doc has to tolerate having a Badger on his team and a brief discussion about how great Marquette is doing under Buzz, I'm TOTALLY fine with Stiemsma's success. :)
