Title: Great play by Hayward...then a classic Stiemsma reaction
Post by: 77ncaachamps on March 31, 2012, 11:31:36 PM
Gordon, that is. Credited with a double block but looks like he got body on the first.

Then Kanter crashes into a "perfectly placed" Stiemsma who then throws a classic Badger Bo Ryan "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" tantrum.

Well, he was in the circle.  But ya really got to hand it to the guy.  Never thought he would make the NBA.

Yeah.

But on a roster full of veterans and large contracts, he was a no-brainer for the Celtics who needed some kind of interior defender once Perkins left for OKC.

Then again, don't give TOO MUCH credit to an organization that drafted Luke Harangody. ;)

Doc just needed someone to talk about his halfcourt buzzer beater with.

When it leads to Dan Shulman & Hubie Brown cracking jokes about how Doc has to tolerate having a Badger on his team and a brief discussion about how great Marquette is doing under Buzz, I'm TOTALLY fine with Stiemsma's success. :)
